Audiojack Musicians

Branding, Identity & Website

Overview

This organisation wanted to provide budding musicians with online tutorial courses. Working with London agency Team Awesome, we named it, created a brand identity and produced a website. As the site was to feature mainstream artists, our brief was to showcase them in a new way.

Audio Jack was developed using the negative space of the U.

The typeface we selected was Avant Garde. When used at large point sizes the letterforms create a mood, style and intent of an identity. The lighter letterforms appear clear and understated, young and positive, with a slight rebellious character. Action speaks louder than words.

To reproduce the community feel of Audiojack, we developed a Facebook-style navigation for the communal area of the website. It enables members to share links, add friends, upload music and post notes and comments.

And we made sure that the site functions well on new platforms such as tablets, pads and phones.
